That was really, really loud.

Good lord that was loud. Last night at about 1:00 AM or so, some storms came through, and out of freaking nowhere, a bolt hit within what I'd estimate was about a block from the house. Loud enough to hurt my ears, through the damn walls and windows. Being the thunder-hating guy that I am, I ran and hid on the sofa in the living room, then fell asleep there. My reaction to thunder nearly blowing my ears out:

All I can say about this is...WTF? I can tell what they did...I think. I'm going to assume they went the route of "let's convert yen to dollars by just changing the word!" instead of realizing that there's this thing called an exchange rate.
