That was really, really loud.

Good lord that was loud. Last night at about 1:00 AM or so, some storms came through, and out of freaking nowhere, a bolt hit within what I'd estimate was about a block from the house. Loud enough to hurt my ears, through the damn walls and windows. Being the thunder-hating guy that I am, I ran and hid on the sofa in the living room, then fell asleep there.
